32.21.9 N 64.40.7 W This entry will "catch-up" the period between the End of ABP-1 and the Start of ABP-2! Shawn, Nate, and Issy flew out, on Jun 20, having never left St. George due to the restrictions for COVID; but Alex stayed on for 2 days, "sailing" down to Hamilton and the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club. Upon arrival at RBYC, "Dark & Stormy's" were enjoyed by all!! Then, Poppi, Alex, Amy and Henry went to Royal Dockyard by Ferry on Jun 21....after which Amy and Henry went to Horseshoe Bay Beach.....beautiful sand, very clear water, great swimming, and almost alone! That night, Poppi and Alex each had "Cohiba" cigars on the stern of "Arbella", with a "sipper" of Goslings!! Great bonding experience!! On Jun 22, Alex left to fly back alone, while Poppi, Amy, and Henry went out to explore BUEI (Bermuda Undersea Exploration Institute)....history, sea creatures, and fascinating information about "the deep sea" around Bermuda!
On Jun 23, Amy, Poppi, Henry and Nick took Arbella up northeast (2 1/2 hours) to St. George to prepare for departure the next day (photo of all, upon arrival, at "St. George" statue). And then Amy and Henry spent time at the St. George beach. That night, Sir Will White arrived to join the intrepid crew of Arbella, and a fabulous dinner was enjoyed at "Wahoo" .... very fresh fish dishes!! The crew was "re-forming", as Cav had to fly home unexpectedly, and now Poppi, Amy, Henry, Nick and Will are the "intrepid crew" who will carry-on back to Annapolis......900 miles and about 6 days to Annapolis.....hoping for good sailing winds!! Overall, everyone had a GREAT TIME on this beautiful island!! Capt. Poppi
