18:44.5N 64:18.6W  THE BIG DAY….IT'S NATE'S BIRTHDAY…today he "turns 22"  (inside joke…actually "10")! …and it is off to Anegoda for Nani, Poppi, Nate, and Issy…while Shawn, Cindy, and Alex go on a "Diving Excursioon"!!  The diving trip gave Cindy and Hurley a chance to practice their skills, since they became scuba certified at BEYC last year…..two dives….a great time (but all pictures were "Go Pro" and don't make it to the blog!).  For the rest of the crew….we are Anegoda bound…it is a very flat island 12 miles north of Virgin Gorda and is the most northern point of the BVI's and all of the Leeward Islands.  The BEYC organizes, once a week, a snorkeling and beach trip…boat, safari jeep, and after 2 hours we are at Loblolly Bay.  We immediately go in for snorkeling, then out for beach time…Nani and Alligator are showing 10 fingers each and with 2 bodies that is "22 --  Nate's new age"!!  After beach time, we have lunch and are entertained by "Crazy Richard"….but, along the way, "Crazy Richard" has two surprises for "Alligator"….he specializes in wood-burning on drift wood from Loblolly Bay….first is a board burned memorializing Nate's birthday that he will take home…BUT…then comes a second board, shown in the pictures, that will hang "now and forever" at the Loblolly Bay Bar….the sign is just to the left of Issy's hair when the two are sitting on the bar.  And then there was ice cream….but this special day is only beginning…
