Malcolm, Becky and Antonia joined us in Grenada, where we waited for them in Port Louis marina.  A lovely marina, beautifully designed mainly to attract the mega yachts of which there were a few.  After giving the yacht a good clean and provisioning with food for the next few days, I decided to go for a well earned massage at the spa in the marina.  It was excellent, she found every single knot in my back and neck and expertly massaged them out.
A very tired family arrived after a long flight, so we went out to the marina restaurant for a quick dinner before they crashed asleep.
The following morning we set sail for Union island, not the most comfortable sail as we had ENE winds and were bashing into the waves.  We arrived at Union Island in Chatham Bay for the night and all went for a lovely swim, the yacht was swinging like mad as there were strong gusts of wind blowing down into the bay so swimming became interesting as the yacht was swinging away from us and then towards us.  We had an easy supper on board of griddled chicken breasts which I had rubbed with Old Bay rub, used mainly for crab and seafood but also good on chicken.
The following morning we motored around to Clifton on Union Island and Malcolm and Antonia enrolled for Kite surfing lessons.  Malcolm for an improvement lesson and Ants a beginners one.  Becky took her book along to the beach where the kite surfing is so that she could relax and sunbathe.
Jonathan and I bought some lobsters off a local fisherman called ‘Tiger’ for dinner on board that night.
The wind is howling and there are big rain squalls coming through every now and again which is such a shame.  Caused apparently by a tropical storm between St. Vincent and Tobago off the east coast.  We cannot see it on Windity.  It is supposed to be calming down by the weekend but still blowing at 18 knots rather than the 20 - 30 knots we have been having.  All this may make snorkelling in the Cays a problem as the sand will be whipped up and anchoring will be bumpy, we will see.  The idea is to head to Bequie where apparently all yachties are going for Christmas Day as it is supposed to be a good party ashore with lots of music.
