Below refuelling in Çesme.
An abandoned Telekom boat on the beach.  An area that was going to be developed but abandoned.  A disused telephone cable runs under the bay.  Beautiful crystal clear water.  Explored the beach but as usual, with so many Turkish beaches, plastic, bottles and other rubbish everywhere.  Such ashame, one would have thought they would have the intelligence to realise that if they throw their plastic bottles, dirty nappies and other rubbish on the beach after BBQing/camping that it makes it look undesirable, but they appear not to notice and just sit amongst it.  Some resort towns now have recycling bins for the plastic bottles which I suppose is a move in the right direction.  What they really need is a big advertising campaign with a song about dirty devils, as they did in HK. It worked and HK is much better than it used to be, in fact cleaner than the city of London.
