After a nice time on Sao Miguel, Sao Jorge, Faial, Pico and Terceira for the second half of July, Elsa and Jon flew back to London today (en route to Bodrum), and Peri and I have now been joined by Grethe (last night) and Skip (today) who are joining us for the passage to Ireland, which will likely take a week, though quite possibly as much as ten days or more.
We will try to post here en route with position updates and a few words on progress, but please be aware that we may have technical difficulties with the Iridium satphone, so if we do nto manage to post, this is emphatically not a cause for concern :-)
Now off to bed for a bit of pre-departure rest!
