We have made good progress so far, had to motor and motorsail until part way past the TSS off Cape St Vincent, but the engine has been off for the past 6 hours and we have been sailing nicely on a port tack beam reach with a F3 at an SOG of 6 to 7 knots. So we are as Jules just said “putting diesel in the bank” for use later on the passage as needed.
The watermaker is not working, but we have plenty of water, so no problem there.
Steak for dinner tonight.
