Watergaw

Safely back in the water, we have re-rigged Watergaw and are working our way through the systems to make sure all is well. We have taken a couple of nights off the cooking, having found a fine little restaurant within a hop, step and jump (how Olympian) from our berth.

It has been hot and sunny since we arrived back on Wednesday night, but we have had a bit of rain today and it is now very humid.  The Azores High is again misbehaving, with a small Low drifting in from the Atlantic, so it looks a bit changeable this week. Nonetheless, the forecast for the next few days is likely to bring us some decent south westerlies if we leave Tuesday, and then things should revert to normal (Azores High re-asserting itself) as we get nearer the Iberian coast where the Portuguese Trades should give us a fair sail.
