It was a short hop to the anchorage at St Annes, which is quite a nice little village with shops, a market and restaurants. It also has the ubiquitous French landing dock - apparently, every village gets one, and a fish market as part of the Grand Design!

Unfortunately, the village was also celebrating a festival over the weekend, and the band was loud and painful! We moved a bit further south to get away from the noise, only to find that a catamaran overflowing with young Caribbean party-goers was out for the day! There must have been 25 of them, with boom box loud music getting them in the mood! They practiced their dancing moves on the bows of the cat, or more dangerously, on the trampoline that spans the two hulls..... must say their timing was pretty good, despite boat movement and springy dance floor! Happily, they wrapped it up as the sun went down, and headed back for the harbour, doubtless thinking about work on Monday!
