It’s Monday 30 August and we finally have the know-how to add blog entries to kick start our adventures on Walkabout 👍

Currently we are anchored in Baiona, Spain having arrived Thursday 26 August. The sun is out, the days warm and it’s absolutely lovely!

We left our home port, Plymouth on Sunday 15 August amongst friends and family, thank you all for being there xx After a very emotional departure, all we could cope with was a motor to Cawsand (an hour away and still in Plymouth Sound!), dropped anchor and slept. It had been a huge last few months!!

Having spent a few recover days in Helford River, we then spent a few nights in Falmouth.

At 0730 Sunday 22 August we slipped our mooring, refuelled while Krissy and Paul from Crazy Ivan came to see us off and bid us farewell.

It was a cracker of a day! Sun, wind and a fantastic sail past The Lizard before we lost sight of land and Biscay beckoned …
