It was in grey, showery weather that we recommenced the cruise, leaving Oban at 0900 with a farewell to Maggs in the office. Wind was minimal, and inevitably on the nose, so we motored with a view to ensuring a pontoon berth in Tobermory, which we did at 1320. We were greeted on the pontoon by Richard and Sue Calderwood of Sandpiper, last seen in Oban, and their new crew.  We did our laundry in the facilities block, but attempts to hang the washing out to dry on the rails in the pleasant afternoon sun had the effect of bringing on heavy showers of rain. We  'did' the town, showered later, and enjoyed some good pub grub in McGochans before retiring.
(Forgot to include this famous Largs store in the previous post!)
