Left the Yealm at around 10.30am on Sunday 29th, we had a really difficult time getting off the boat we were attached to, with the wind and tide pushing us onto the boat, but managed it without hitting anything!!! The weather forecast was not good for the short trip round to Plymouth and had a very choppy sea with Force 6 and 7 winds. We had the sails reefed down and were flying along with the boat very well heeled over at times.

Got into Plymouth safely into Sutton Harbour Marina, and will hopefully get Westways to check out the problems we are having.

Now have full internet access so am updating our blog, and getting in touch with all the people who have tried to contact us in the last few weeks!

Didn't realise that where we are moored is right in the centre of Plymouth (The Barbican area), and this is where loads of people gather for bank holiday frolics and it was like being in the middle of a nightclub until late into the night! I had to put a leash around  Geoff who wanted to turn into a teenager again and join in the party......until he had one beer on board and fell asleep....

A big thank you to Rick and Lucy for helping us cope with stronger winds, lots of advice and running us around.
