Left la Rochelle yesterday evening, and arrived late into St Denis on Ile d'Oleron. Had been waiting in La Rochelle, too long, for parts to arrive. All arrived but one was the wrong one! (not a show stopper, so we have headed off anyway!)
 
We really loved La Rochelle, so it was no hard ship, and we were moored right in the centre of the town, which was very enjoyable and different! This weekend saw the Red Bull World Cliff Diving championships, which was fantastic to watch, as they jumped off a platform erected on the top of one of La Rochelle's famous towers. The icing on the cake that was that a British guy won it! We had to keep our cheering down to a minimum! (the photos will follow shortly)
 
Will be staying on this Island for a week or so, and will try and explore some of it by bike!!!!
