Subject: The day of 'Perfects'

Rain and squalls overnight but a perfect morning.    We are still going in the right direction and at a reasonable speed. Parasailor down for repairs, so put up the cruising chute which set perfectly until we encountered the perfect squall (35 knot wind from nowhere with a blue sky!).  Boat broached and then big bang… cruising chute spectacularly and perfectly shredded!  Sadly no photograph as crew otherwise engaged at the time.  However, there was an upside…. The perfectly baked brown loaf for lunch (see photo).  Tennis court sized Parasailor repairs completed in the saloon and we plan to fly it again tomorrow.  Camera will be at the ready.

PS   this was us looking clean and tidy before the start!
