With the whole crew now very comfortable with the
boat and the weather being on our side it was time to launch the spinaker. After
our Steak and Potato Chips for lunch, half the crew wobbled to the
foredeck to launch the new toy. It was hugely successful and beneficial
for us as it gave us an extra knot for the rest of the afternoon and
helped "cruise" us past a few more ARC sailors.
The evening came with a big surprise with a 15
pound Dorado being caught by Nicks new and improved fishing equipment. The
colorful fish however was not eaten but released to Pierre's request. (Todd
Dropped it).
Overall all is going very well and the weather is
fantastic, with a constant breeze of 15-20 knots from behind us.
