It seems I made a mistake about my cat Dabola.  if he had a boat, it’d be a 1967 57’ Chris Craft Constellation, with hard top and obligatory blue stripe.  More his style.

He came out of hiding yesterday and drank water, ate Temptations (what do they put into that stuff?) and rubbed his head against the bulkhead. good signs. I really worry about him, but he seems to be doing OK.

This morning we were “becalmed”. Except for wave slop, and The wallowing from side to side.  But the breeze did finally fill in. We plotted our course on our “paper” (some sort of plastic) and we plotted the course of TS Bret. It looks like Bret is not a Threat. Sounds like a song some by the Temptations.   (?)

We are heading NE , a bit more North, and we are most likely back in the Gulf Stream. The fridge got warmer, there is more stuff in the water and air is warmer than the last 2 days. This should give us a kick to the East!
