off! We were up bright and early for breakfast in the hotel - we could get
used to this but sadly we can't!! We did a bit of exploring around the
marina and then went into town to pick up some bits and pieces from El Corte
Ingles, a massive department store which had anything and everything you
could possibly want, from pianos to motorbikes! We then had a lovely lunch
in a local tapas bar overlooking the marina. Tom and Fi have been very busy
today coordinating The Oyster Service team who are still busy on board
fixing things! Just when we thought we were getting close to completing the
list of outstanding repairs we unfortunately discovered a fresh water leak
into the starboard aft cabin. Bummer - this means we will have to stay in
the hotel for another night!! The day was spent trying to locate the source
of the leak which we now know is coming from one of the aft cleats. Angus,
our final crew member arrived on board at around 6.30 so we are now 7!
After a few drinks in the ARC bar we headed to the ARC Farewell Party at The
Johnnie Walker Bar overlooking the marina followed by a very late pizza,
some red wine and then bed!! One sleep to go!!
