Just had our second night here in Les Saintes. The journey here was straight forward apart from a stretch of a few miles just off the Southern tip of Guadeloupe; the sea was very steep and rough reminiscent of the storm we went through South of Sardinia.

Yesterday we walked up to Fort Napolean which was hot work in the baking sun but it was worth it for the spectacular views. Last night we went for a nice meal but returning in the dark Penny nearly fell in the water when she was trying to get out of the dinghy onto the boat. I pointed out that the water was warm but she wasn't impressed!

Tomorrow we set off on an overnight passage to Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia. The journey is about 120 miles and we'll set off at about 11.00am which will allow us to arrive in the light if we average anything between 4 and 6 knots speed.

We'll post some photos when we're settled in at Rodney Bay.
