Just thought I'd add some further pictures to the blog but I'm finding that either my computer or the internet is acting up, but I am perservering.

Again we can't put captions on.  There are some scenery pictures in Valle Gran Rey, A statue of the aboriginal tribal leader who was tricked into ceding Gomera to the Spanish after a long struggle and a couple of pictures from the sea; A turtle, one of many I saw on that passage, and the ubiquitous Shearwater which we have seen on every passage from Malta onwards.  I usually see Shearwaters as a harbinger of rough seas as they like to glide within inches of the waves in rough seas, in smooth seas they are usually sitting on the surface in small groups.

Tomorrow we are going back to San Miguel for a night and then the day after we will voyage on to Santa Cruz de Tenerife.   We will use Santa Cruz as a base to further explore Tenerife, perhaps going to the top of El Teide which is over 12,000 ft high.
