We arrived in Valletta Malta at 09.30am on the 2nd July. On the way in we were greeted by a Maltese naval patrol vessel who asked us a couple of polite questions then went on their way - that was our check-in to Malta.  The crossing had been more challenging on the 3rd night with a stiff breeze on the nose giving us 30 knots of apparent wind, the sea around Sicily was quite rough and there was a lot of shipping to watch out for.  This is just a quick blog to mark our arrival in Malta,  Penny will do a further blog about the crossing with some pictures.
