After spending a week in Cagliari Jackie and Nigel arrived and after a night out in the old town we headed up the coast.  Our first anchorage at Piscini in Teulada bay was very beautiful with crystal clear waters.  Then we headed up to Portoscuso past Carloforte on the Isole San Pietro, quite a contrast to Piscini with a busy beach and disco partying music.  The next anchorage was at the ruins of Tharros in the San Marco anchorage, lots of yachts but well spaced.  Day 4 we reached Bosa where we arrived on the day of the Madonna parade up the river.  There was a fantastic firework display which was conducted near the dinghy so we couldn't get back to Roysterer until gone midnight. Finally a short trip up to an anchorage next to Alghero Marina.  Whilst we were ashore the wind got up and our anchor dragged.  Roysterer headed for our neighbours in another Oyster who luckily were aboard and managed to keep the 2 boats apart.  Our anchor finally dug in and our neighbours moved off to a safe distance! Then we moved into the Ser Mar Marina in Alghero to spend a few nights here and to enable Jackie and Nigel to get to the airport for their return flight.
