Happy Friday everyone!

I hope you all had a great week and now that the weekend has started I am sure it just got a whole lot better! Not a lot to report on our end in the last few days. We are still in Bundaberg Port Marina. The weather hasn't been ideal for us to head out to Lady Musgrave and wasn't going to be ideal until Monday. So of course with too much time on his hands and too long to think about things that we need, Jon has ordered a wind generator for the boat. It is needed anyway as it will create a lot more power for what we need to use on the boat. The solar panels just weren't doing enough. So it has been ordered and is supposed to arrive on Monday when it will be put on the stern. We did a bit of a run around Bundaberg today getting a few things that were required to install it and I also did some more shopping. I am sure I have enough food to last us for quite some time now!

So we have just been chilling here and I have been pottering. I am very quickly discovering that the yachtie scene is a very social one! There are always new people to meet and have a drink with. It's really quite nice! So apart from the socialising and the pottering, you will be happy to know that I made an attempt on making some muffins in the pressure cooker today with great success! They were absolutely sensational! (Even if I do say so myself!) It was trial and error and I thought if I halve my usual oven cooking time, it might work and sure enough it did! I have attached a picture for your viewing pleasure! Who would have thought that it would have worked so well!

Other than this, I have no other news to report. The WIde Bay Air Show is on in Bundaberg this weekend. We are hoping to go out and see if we can see some aerial acrobatics! I will let you know!

Have a wonderful weekend!

With love
Claris

"Cruising has two pleasures. One is to go out in wider waters from a sheltered place. The other is to go into a sheltered place from wider waters."   Howard Bloomfield

Burley has been venturing out to the cockpit while we are under sail. This was taken when we were coming across to Bundaberg on Monday.

A contented cat!
