Ok....so we have a name for our boat locked in and we have a date set for departure. Both very exciting!

The name 'Pegasus' was, we found out, the original name of the boat. It is considered bad luck to change the name of a boat so we decided to stick with it. As there are lots of boats with the same name registered in Australia, we had to either add a number on the end or alter it somehow. After a bit of research, I found out that the ancient greek spelling for Pegasus was spelt with an o instead of a u and this solved our problem! So 'Pegasos' she is!

As for our departure date...it has been set at August 1st, 2011. So we have a couple of months to get ourselves organised so we can head north towards the Whitsundays!

There may not be a lot of blogging between now and then but I thought I should start it off and let you know that it is all set up for you to read and look at once we head off!
