Untied and all wrapped up

It's so quiet out here . Just the hissing sound of the waves as the boat
slices through the water , the hum of the wind in the rigging and now and
then a clank and clatter of a rope . Some city dwellers actually buy Cd's
with this sound to try and achieve that "zen" moment. Its all around us now
, this quiet. I must admit I prefer it from the howling and screeching of
the wind we had days ago. Looks like we are going to get some good winds to
take us north , I can already feel it getting warmer. Now approaching
Barefoot weather. Let me explain. When we left Cape Town , it was Boots ,
socks , Long Johns , Scarf , beanie , 2 Jerseys weather. As we progress
further North one slips off more clothing. Its been Jersey , boots and
socks weather for the last few days , and soon enough it will be Baggies
and T- Shirt weather all day and all night. Ahh Sailing , nothing like it ,
sometimes you freeze , sometimes you sweat. Its all about getting from A to
B ... Not quickly . just getting there....
