So it starts again. It feels like just yesterday that we were almost in the same spot getting ready to leave. This brand new out the box Leopard 39 is looking wonderful , she looks like she really wants to tackle the seas. Mike as the Skipper , Myself (Paul ) as the first Mate and Conner as crew. Slowly we have started doing the buying and procuring for the boat. Questions like , Do we have enough toilet paper , Is there enough water , how many packets of porridge , do we have enough steak. Eternal questions that have plagued sailors throughout the years. Conner spent the night alone on the boat getting acquainted with the boat while Mike and myself sorted out Cutlery and pots and pans. I have lists of lists of list , double checking and rechecking. There are no quick stops , no "hey lets pull over and get some Milk" nothing. So if we don't have it when we leave ,we wont have it until we get to out destination. Run out of toilet paper and we are in the" kuk". Forget to take a knife or fork and your eating with your fingers. One would think that i would be able to breeze through the "lists" after doing so many trips , but still at the back of my mind , there is that niggling thought.. I am sure i have forgotten something , One just has to figure out what that something is before we leave...
