We passed Diego Garcia last night , reason i have mentioned this place so
many times is its the only thing out here. We have been getting steady
light winds all day , so had a very comfortable sail under a blazing hot
sun. Perfect day for checking all the ropes and rigging. Found a few
chaffed areas , so made adjustments and fixed all the problems. Water
Temperature has been hovinering at the 35 degree mark. , That's like Bath
Water , I don't even think Durbans Water gets that warm. As even fell ,
the winds have died , and we have been Motoring. With the full moon out ,
a slight gurgle and drone of the engines , its beautiful out here. Small
puffy clouds seem to levitate in the sky in the distance , the moon
casting a blue grey sheen over the water and the air seems "thick" with
heat.
