Boy , sometimes i am glad we were nicely tucked away in a Marina. A Cold
front passed over Cape Town today , pretty appropriate that it was the last
day of Winter as the temperatures plummeted. I just managed to get a load of
Clothing and my pillows onto the yacht before the wind howl and the heavens
opened. Gusts of about 30 Knots and upwards lashed the boats at the marina
and we all sat in the saloon looking on . Again , thank goodness we were not
"out there".
We have a slight delay as there is a small problem with the paper work , so
looks like we only leave maybe Tuesday. Hey that Ok , gives us time to
recheck things on the boat. And with this weather all i feel like doing is
hiding in my cabin and burrowing under the blankets. We have shore power so
we can watch Movies off the Laptop and we just figured out how to use our
Cellphones to connect to the internet. ( Not as easy as you think)
