Well, we’ve all managed to assemble in Lanzarote.  Newman and I overnighted
in London and enjoyed whistlestop tour of the sights via river taxi to
Greenwich.  At  Greenwich we visited the Old Naval College and the Royal
Observatory and had a look at Harrison’s clocks...essential viewing for a
specialist navigator.  Naturally the evening ended in a boozer in the West
End, thanks to Graham Napier for showing us the way.  Ian and Kevin met u
sat Gatwick Airport at some unearthly hour and having had our breakfast we
embarked our flight.

Nimble Ape is in good condition after being left unattended for several
months and the boatyard in Puerto Calero did a great job with the things I
asked them to do.  Victual, bunker, and water and we’re ready to go!
