We were too big for Marina del Este so we anchored south in Penon de Las Caballas, Almuñécar. Lovely little anchorage but mainly rocks so you have to look hard for sand. When you find it the holding is good in 10-15m. Nice Cafe del Mar type bar on the beach which kept us awake until around 2.30am. If we weren't due to get up so early I dare say we would have taken a look. The anchorage was a bit rolly but it served a purpose as a nice overnight stop before Aguadulce.
