Predictions of mutiny, plank-walking, scurvy, keel-hauling and cannibalism seem to have been exaggerated - although all of these would have made for a better movie, which I assume will appear as the blockbuster "film of the blog" starring "Burt" Psmythe, "Anthony" Quayle, "Gregory" Lane and "Clint" Burbridge, with a supporting cast of thousands of voluptuous mermaids including Gina Lollabrigida, Diana Dors, Thora Hird, Sophia Loren and Irene Handl.

Chill with terror as Gregory Lane grapples desperately with a stuck cork in a bottle of Puligny Montrachet!

Squirm as Anthony Quayle loses a langoustine a l'ail down his trousers!
Gasp as Clint Burbridge takes off his socks to windward!
Palpitate as the sultry pouting mermaids (44-25-8) pout and sult in never-seen-before scenes of explicit mermaids .....
