My early start on Monday morning was rewarded with a fleeting glimpse of an otter about 200 yards from the boat. On our way out of Loch Sunart, some dolphins came to play around the boat. We saw 2 basking sharks on Tuesday between Ardnamurchan and Loch Moidart. The following day on passage to Rum, JB saw what he thinks was a Minke whale, or it might possibly have been an exceptionally large dolphin. Several huge rafts of Manx shearwaters have been seen as well as convivial groups of guillemots and razorbills partying together.
