Quick breakfast and prompt start to press on through the rest of the canal.  Slick work from Andrew shoreside and crew on board resulted in a respectable passage through with no fellow travellers.  Glorious sail down Loch Fyne in sunshine with a fresh breeze from the W/SW.  Got a bit lumpy at the top of Arran as breeze died so motor sailed for half an hour until it filled in again.  Fair tide and good breeze helped us on our way (we clocked 9.2 knots as we approached the south end of Bute)  Awkward dead run through Millport Sound required 3 gybes.  Hurrah; Largs has got room for us so in we went.  Alongside in good time for cocktails in the cockpit (2000) and Andrew is hard at work preparing tinned curry – bit of a rice theme as we have stuffed vine leaves to start with as well, but we won’t have to have rice pudding as there is some apple pie left over from yesterday to have with the pudding wine.
