Another quiet night. We have not seen another vessel now for more than 50 hrs. Rolling heavily in seas however its not uncomfortable. Found (2) black squid on the deck this morning which has left a bit of a mess. Nearest land currently is 128nm’s East to North Africa or 293nm’s West to Maderia. It is 400 nm’s to Las Palmas. Our course over the ground is 218 Mag and SOG is 6.2

Still operating largely under a combination of engine and sail in very light winds. At present we are running down wind in 6kts of wind with the Foresail and Cutter sail up and engine at 1500rev’s.

Andrew cooked chicken curry last night which went down well and so far has stayed down! If anyone is reading this – the rugby scores would be of great interest!!
