Almost there! Slightly nervous anticipation is building all around the
marina. Weather still a bit miz with strong winds blowning now for the last
two days. Some suggestions of a delayed start to let it pass over but we
will know more after Skippers Briefing at 12:00hrs today.

Final jobs are being cleared today so we are all scattererd around Las
Palmas this morning. Frozen (vacuum packed) meats are due for delivery
shortly while the fruit and veg arrived yesterday. Every item as washed and
dried on the dock before being brought on board. Despite the amount of
provisions now stowed, the boat is remaining remarkably clean and tidy, in
this regard Richard is keeping us all in line - naturally house proud and
never without a duster in his hand!

We plan a final rig briefing this afternoon and a relatively quiet night
tonight. Most crews hit the bars big style last night (as did we) but the
concenus is that it minimal booz will be consumed now before the start.
Conversations everywhere have now moved to what route boats are going to
take......more on that later!

Lots of goodwill emails and texts flying around - all of which are much
appreciated.
