We arrived in Aguilas late in the afternoon of Oct 11 after sailing down the coast.  The coast consists of city after city of high rise apartments and condos broken up by desolate sheer cliffs of rock.  We can sail fairly close to the cliffs as the water depths are around 60 meters.  The winds have been light most of the time with  it increasing slightly in the afternoons.  Temperature is in the mid to high 20's.  The harbour we originally went to did not take yachts our size but they had finished a new harbour just up the way and we got in there with no problem.  it is a beautiful harbour and very modern.  We are roasting a chicken with all the trimmings tonight as it is a national holiday here in Spain and for Thanksgiving back home.  We will bw out of here early tomorrow for a long run down to San Jose.
