So far it appears that we have successfully avoided the bad weather that was forecast. Another lovely day today, warm sunshine and the sea deep blue.

It started off with good intentions as at just gone 6am, we were all up and ready to put up the angel. Unfortunately, she was very sulky and did not want to go up. We crossed the line up to the snuffer, managed to put a riding turn on the winch and then turned the boat the wrong way so that she collapsed in to the forestay, After a lot of hard work, especially by Curtis, we got her up and Elemiah roared off. We were all exhausted.

As the wind built up during the day, we had to take her down but now it is a lovely evening. The wind has moderated somewhat and Elemiah is doing her rocking horse act, swinging backwards and forwards in the most soporific way.
