Sea Trials
A red letter day - we went out sailing! We sailed round Lunenburg
bay, drank a case of beer and came back.

Here we are leaving the dock.
In between, it was great to see the boat was so well balanced sailing
just with the staysail and the mizzen. It was quite windy - gusts of
25 knots but we were able just to let her sail all by herself - no-one
was touching the wheel and she held very steady on her course. The
engine worked fine and pushes the boat along nicely. We checked out
what speed she does at various revs.

Here is Ian happy at her performance.
There are a few issues on the systems which will have to be solved
before we can leave. These include the echo sounder (which shows the
depth) which is not registering and also the log (which shows the
speed). The remote for the autopilot was also not working but we
think we have solved that one as it needed charging!
The list of things to do is doing its usual trick of getting things
ticked off but at the same time also getting longer with more jobs!
