We have had three fabulous days here staying with Graham and Janet who were the very first owners to order a Discovery 55 – 10 years ago.  We are eternally grateful to them for the faith they showed in us as a young company then.

Now they are building an eco-friendly house on Grand Cayman...a wonderful project, and I hope very much we will be able to return one day to see the finished house.

For the past three days they have nurtured us and taken care of us...driving us around and helping us to get ready for the next stage – to San Blas, Panama and then into the Pacific. Having already sailed across the Pacific and written a book based on the trip ("The Islands That Time Forgot") Graham and Janet piled up presents of guidebooks, suggested routes and tips on country formalities.

They have done all this so graciously – and made it feel as though nothing was too much trouble. We owe them a new debt of gratitude.  Huge thanks to both of them!
