We have passed through the zone of convergence, it was shorter than we were expecting and we were lucky we had done so much preparation for the last 350 miles up wind.  Refuelling, getting the boat stowed and getting the number 4 jib ready.

The wind built very quickly to 15 knots on the nose with a very choppy sea. So we are making slow but steady progress northwards towards Port Ghalib, the entry port to Egypt.

At 13:00 we had passed the 2500 miles mark for the trip so we are feeling very happy.

A very large pod of small dolphins came to visit us which made us all feel good.

Thanks to RetinaUk and Eyesea.org for all their good work.
