Hi All,
Well we arrived in St Helena on Monday night, at
around 7pm, we could not get off the boat until Tuesday morning after the Doctor
had boarded us to check our temperatures, which were all ok.
We cleared customs around 2 o'clock and were
then allowed to see the island, and I can honestly say what a great little
Island this was.
The locals were the friendliest people we have come
across, always a cheerful greeting from everyone we passed.
Stuart and I decided to have a couple of
nights in luxury, in one of the few hotels that are on the
island, we stayed at the Consulate Hotel and had the most wonderful
time, Stuart and I would just like to say a big thank you to Hazel, Peter,
Daphne, Lynn and the rest of their staff for making our stay most
enjoyable, and yes one day we will return!!
