Bermuda was absolutely lovely, very pretty. It's divided into areas, which made us feel at home Somerset, Southampton, Pembroke. Except Eileen as she's Canadian, eh ! We stayed for 6 days, we knew it was time to leave when we got fed up with drinking and had no money left.

We met a lovely guy called Cole Dale, we thought his name was Cole, but turned out to be called Dale. He was kind enough to take us to Southampton, as the drive is beautiful and there's a lighthouse with fab views, the girls all squeezed into his very small car, he thought we were all drunk, it was 10 am, we usually wait until at least midday ! He also turned out to work for an importers, so gave us a box of Heinz baked beans, Ribena, cereal bars (so there's now no danger of running out), Cornflakes although there's no fridge so chocolate cornflake cakes it is, oh and some McVitie specialty biscuits. HOORAH for Cole Dale, if you're reading this thank you very much.

We had a couple of the worst/expensive meals that we've ever had, one Chinese and one Indian, Beth actually made the "Shame on you !" comment in the Indian when they presented luminous raita insisting that it was all natural and a Biriyani with no sauce, the statement is only used very rarely when really disappointed/disgusted. But we were all abit tiddly so no harm done.

We went on a few buses, which were proper pink ones, not like the other islands, which tend to be mini buses, they were the strictest buses in the whole world, you weren't allowed to do/say anything or you would be told off. But is was a great way to see the island.

The beaches were beautiful and the water crystal clear, although we only went on a couple of them.

Eileen and Joyce became a little obsessed with thrift stores and scoured the island for them, to stock up on warm clothes, as a couple of guys heading/in the Azores, said that thermals were required and the Azores were like Wales. Thank god we found M&S, leggings, thermals, vests, knickers and Percy pigs a go go. Beth is now trading her new knickers for a squirt of Joyce's perfume daily and the chance to get hold of her photos.

Eileen has found the sewing machine and seems to be fixing all of Kelly's clothes, Kelly is skipper for the trip and is very excited about catching more fish, Joyce is still washing her clothes and making us laugh, Beth is just dreaming of a 747 and airline food and Stuart is, well Stuart, so all is good on Desi.
