We set sail from St Martin to the BVI's at about 7 pm on Thurs 12th, after a lovely stir fry cooked by Joyce. We had to motor all the way as no sodding wind, except in the middle of the night, when the wind went upto about 20 knots, but the visibility was really poor and it was Beth and Stuart's watch, There was no way Beth (Me) was getting on deck in that weather !! Even with my leash on !

To avoid any nasties from immigration we all went together it started to rain, so we all stayed in the Marina bar. Stuart escaped for a while, to run around the boat in peace and quiet. He then came and collected us to take us back for a lovely dinner, starter was Tuna (caught by Eileen) in a creamy pasta sauce and main was a scrummy Shepherds pie, which we demolished and Beth licked the spoon and bowl, there's a 2 second rule on Desi, that if nobody claims food in that time you can have it, not sure if this rule applies if anyone's still eating though.

As Stuart and Eillen are hard core drinkers, they went back ashore and resumed drinking,

Today, we all got up, Stuart donned his very fetching Man City shirt and off we went to watch the FA Cup Final, 10 am kick off, very strange being in a bar and drinking coffee.

Afterwards we went over to "The Baths"  a rockpool, grotto place and swam off the boat, then it started raining AGAIN !!

We were going to a Jazz night, but it was outdoors and too wet. We stayed aboard and made our own fun, which involved Stuart & Beth perfecting the lime juice, rum, sugar and fruit juice ratio in the perfect rum punch, this did involve a lot of taste testing though, we then had chicken, Chorizo and sweet potato risotto, which did a good job of soaking up some of the perfectly mixed punch. After we finished the punch, we all played sardines and squeezed into each berth, although we didn't have to squeeze much into Stuart or Kelly's berth, it was abit more tricky in Beth, Eileen's and Joyce's. We ended the night all in bed with Stuart, watching Top Gun and eating popcorn.

Off to Tortola tomorrow, so more excitement to follow.
