A bad case of Mastitis, 37.00N, 8.95W, now in Lagos, Portugal

Everything going well and the crew in good shape.
Having temporarily run out of wind, we decided on a whim
to pop into Lagos, on the south west tip of Portugal
for our last night in harbour.
Steve L again distinguished himself by inappropriate
behaviour during a quiet period, wanting to sample the view
from the top of the mast. He was duly swathed in the
bosun's chair and by a mixture of of raw power from the
deck and dogged determination to magnetise himself
to the slippery mast, Steve managed to reach the top.
No sooner had he got there he was begging to be brought
down as soon as possible, experiencing exteme
discomfort in the nether regions as well as being thrown
from side to side in the swell. The crew, especially
Steve B (who was at the foot of the mast) were not
particularly impressed by Steve L's antics, but were immensely grateful
that he avoided being sick while up the mast
with obvious unsavoury consequences.
Needless to say Steve L compounded his masthead
queasiness by a session down below in the laptop
so that about missay be broke the boat record for
a turbo sprint from the cabin to the aft rail which has
become known as the breakfast recycling point.

We plan to leave Lagos tomorow Friday 7th November.
END OF TODAY'S ENTRY.
