After over 3 fantastic weeks in Barbados we are finally heading to Sint maarten to collect our new tender.
We had 20-25knots on the beam for the first 24 hours so made fast progress, but by yesterday afternoon the wind had eased and gone round to SE, and trying to sail downwind in only 10 knots isn't much fun so we've motored throughout the night. It's 7am local time, and Fin and sam are awake and we've just made bread. The flying fish are out in force and St Maarten is visible on the horizon. It's strange doing a passage of this length again (just over 2 days ) after the Atlantic trip as it definitely takes a day or so to settle into a routine- now we have done that and are about to arrive!
