10^th Sept – Another beautiful sunny day with very little wind - we are off Casablanca with calm seas – could be a proper summer’s day in the Solent!

Tim surprises us with lovely white home baked bread, marmalade, marmite& peanut butter – then smoked mackerel with poached egg and salad for lunch! We have been busy with household tasks and have our first shot at a noon sight with John Lunch’s sextant – plenty of room for improvement; this is trickier that it looks!

Tim has another go at fishing for a few hours; clearly needing more practice.

The wind has now picked up a little and we are motorsailing at 7 knots in 10 knots of NW gentle breeze.
