The pace of life in Krabi is gentle. Amarin finds another temple which looks like it has just been restored. 

Sadly, my next door neighbour but one passes away on his boat. As the morning progressed the gathering of officials grew – about 40 in all.  The owner of the marina paid for four monks to come and pray and chant.  Followed by a slap up lunch.

Chinese new year approaches and the decorations go up but the celebrations will be subdued.
