The light
winds continue and when we get within sight of land a nice wind comes
through. Dead against us. We drop anchor at a small island in the late
afternoon leaving an easy two hour run to the marina next morning. Port Captain, Customs, Immigration and finger printing - fifteen minutes and all is done.
In the
evening I go for a beer or two. All of
my old friends are still about sitting around “the table of knowledge”. And I start to plan a birthday party for
Sunday…
