Next morning I have only 10 miles to go to Rebak. But what a 10 miles. The scenery is just stunning. The marina is easy to get into once you have found the entrance. Marina berths good, shore facilities on the marina side below average. But the attached resort facilities are excellent including a swim up cocktail bar; a necessity for every cruiser. We have a 25% discount on everything at the resort and our own bar / resturaunt at the marina that the resort people are not allowed into. Indeed, why should they be allowed in?

Of course we have more freebies laid on such as lunch at the Royal Lankawi Yacht Club (excellent) but the dinner later was a disappointment. It was organised in a Muslim resturaunt. No booze and not allowed to bring any in. 100 yotties and not one teetotaller. Now who organised that?

Everyone has different plans but for me and a good few others it is Christmas at Rebak. The trouble is buying a big leg of ham...
