Just passed the halfway point, had some good sailing so far, but also our fair share of squalls. The rain within these random clouds is amazing, it comes down so heavy that it pretty much flattens the sea, along with the rain the wind gusts up as well. Yesterday we had our strongest and most sustained wind speed since we left the UK, just shy of 40Knts for a couple of hours, Magnum loved it surfing along at 11knts at times. (Amanda not quite as keen !)

Full moon last night and it light up the sea like daylight, pretty amazing.

We have seen 2 boats, an off course swallow and very little else apart from huge Atlantic swells chasing down behind us, difficult to judge size but I guess in the 4m range.

About 130 miles to go now so hoping to make landfall early tomorrow morning

Sea sick free so far, but Amanda has picked up a cold so has found a different reason to shorten her watch periods !!
