We would likely have stayed longer at Nantucket but we had an appointment to have the electronics company return to Shelena to fix the problem with our battery monitor that was reading in reverse. As the batteries were charged so the stored voltage
Was decreasing. Obviously wrong.

So it was 44Nm to Marion Yacht Club for the technician to sort out the problem. As we approached the anchor area we were escorted to a buoy. English folk know that word is pronounced boy. In the US it is spoken as "booy". No idea the origins of that.

As it was early evening we decided to eat at the Club house. That was fun. Firstly, the tradition is acted out every night that at sunset the US flag needs to be lowered in a short ceremony. All in attendance have no chance of missing lowering the flag because a cannon is fired. Everyone stands. It is not our flag but we were not about to cause offence so up we stand too. In less than a minute the silence in lost to room chatter. The food was excellent and the service friendly. They are a generous lot at Marion. I had forgotten my wallet and had no money for drinks or dinner. No problem they say. Pay tomorrow! I did!
