Our first double handed sail was to Ria de Camarinas. It was mentioned by
the pleasant guy at Marinaseca who appeared to be in charge at the yard, but
was also a professional YachtMaster instructor. We felt a short passage was
in order to get our sea legs before rounding the mighty Finisterre light
house. Many British ships perished in those waters and so it was the British
who paid to build the light house. Contrary to what we expected the
lighthouse is actually situated some several nautical miles to the south of
Spain's north west corner of Cabo Torinana which is marked by a much less
famous light.

In any event the 50 or so nautical miles was pleasant enough although the
wind always seems to be in the wrong place so main engine on for stretches
of our passage.

Camarinas is asmall Ria and we strolled in the evening when Helen took a few
photos. Next morning before departure it was oof to buy some provisions.
